A panel discussion on ‘LGBTQI identities: Asian art perspective’ –  at MENIER GALLERY SE1 1RU on Sat 14 Nov – 2 to 4 pm / FREE

GFEST 2015 artist Sunil Gupta will talk about his activism and photographic works. Art critic and writer Anna McNay  who has written an essay on GFEST 2015 artists, will chair the panel. Jaheda Choudhury-Potter of Bengali hip-hop band Ajah UK, and Rohit K Dasgupta, lecturer at University of Southampton will join the panel discussions.

GFEST 2015 LGBT Tour of Tate Modern on Mon 16 Nov – 7 to 8 pm / FREE

Please join us for a tour of LGBT artworks in the Tate Modern collection displays.
Artist Michael Petry will guide us around the Tate collection revealing and explaining LGBT stories and histories within the Tate hang.
Free, but booking is essential.
Please let us know if you have any access requirements. Gallery stools will be provided.

Fragile Future?’ – A panel discussion exploring the impact that LGBT composers and musicians have had on classical music.
On Sat 21 Nov – 12 noon to 2 pm / FREE

The debate will explore the influences of sexuality on the creation of music. The discussion will be chaired by Dr Gulliver Ralston, Director of Music at the University of Roehampton and Director of Music at Oxford’s University Church.
