OUT [in the Margins]: a panel discussion to challenge the perceptions of marginal LGBT+ identities and how the work presented at GFEST 2016 exhibition relates or contrasts with preconceived notions. Artists Veronica Slater, Niranjan Kamatkar and Simon Croft will be on the panel.

The evening is a combination of community event and film screenings. Locally based community groups including the Out & Proud Diamond Group and the UK Lesbian & Gay Immigration Group will provide information and will be available for discussions at the event. Screenings: 5.30 pm feature Outed: The Painful Reality (Uganda) 8:00 pm short films, including Umunthu (Malawi), Same Love – Remix (Kenya), Being Unbound (Tanzania), followed by Q&A.
