PRESS My Genderation ALICE My Genderation – Alice is a part of film project that was set up to record the experiences and perspectives of gender variance. The filmmakers started in late 2012 and went full steam ahead with the project after the death of Lucy Meadows.

Raphael Fox and Lewis Hancox are the creators of My Genderation. The filmmakers both took part in My Transsexual Summer (Ch4) which was a prime-time series that essentially started a dialogue with the nation about gender.

Tiona McClodden aka Tiona M. is an award winning filmmaker/artist. Her feature-length documentary film, black./womyn.: conversations with lesbians of African descent, provides a platform for Black lesbians to speak for themselves and to confront the hyper-sexualized image of the Black lesbian.

Filmmaker Carey Tully is a Navajo, independent filmmaker, camera woman and happy soul. She loves anything that is creative and good for the body and soul.

Hide&Seekfilmstil5Hide & Seek (Chuppan Chupai) is a touching human rights  documentary. The film shows the secret, yet open lives of a group of Pakistani sexual minorities. Religion, underground gay life and collective familial customs of transgenders in urban Pakistan unfold in this real life drama.

A short version of the debut film made by Danish filmmaker Saadat Munir and a Pakistani filmmaker Saad Khan.

The New Black takes viewers into the pews and onto the streets and provides a seat at the kitchen table. It tells the story of the historic fight to win marriage equality in Maryland and charts the evolution of this divisive issue within the black community.

Fulbright Award winner Yoruba Richen is a documentary filmmaker who has directed and produced films in the United States, Africa, South America, and South East Asia. Yoruba has produced for the investigative unit of ABC News and the independent news programme Democracy Now.
